Courseware as a Collection of Tools: Systematizing Product Selection at ASU

In Summer 2017, Instructional Designers and faculty at Arizona State University (ASU) used a combination of staff input, impact analysis and the interactive Courseware in Context (CWiC) Framework’s Feature Analysis to evaluate the impact of their use of Yellowdig, a social learning platform that adds a social layer on top of existing university and enterprise software to engage and incentivize students, on students’ performance.
